Electricity Subsidy for Low-Income Households

The Lifeline Rate Program is a government-mandated subsidy program that provides discounted electricity rates to low-income households. Cagayan II Electric Cooperative, Inc. is committed to implementing this program to help qualified member-consumers afford their electricity bills.

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a registered member-consumer of Cagayan II Electric Cooperative, Inc.
Monthly electricity consumption of 100 kWh or less
Must belong to the lowest 20% income bracket
Must be a certified Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiary or have a Certificate of Indigency
Must not have any outstanding unpaid bills
Must be the registered account holder

Discount Rate 100% of the Generation Charge

Coverage 100 kWh maximum monthly consumption

Validity 1 Year subject to annual revalidation

Important Notes

The Lifeline Rate Program is available only to qualified low-income households.
The discount applies only to the generation charge component of your bill.
Only one Lifeline Rate beneficiary per household is allowed.
The program requires annual revalidation of eligibility.
Misrepresentation or fraudulent applications will be subject to penalties.

How much discount will I receive?

You will receive a 100% discount on the Generation Charge component of your bill, up to a maximum of 100 kWh consumption per month.
Is there a fee to apply?

No, the application is completely free of charge. There are no fees required for processing.
How often do I need to renew?

The Lifeline Rate Program requires annual revalidation to ensure continued eligibility.
What if my consumption exceeds 100 kWh?

If your consumption exceeds 100 kWh in any month, the discount will not be applied for that month. You must maintain consumption at or below 100 kWh to qualify.
