(CAGELCO II) in support of the Department of Energy (DOE) and the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA), commits its local participation in the “Oras Natin sa Efficiency” (ONE) campaign.

The campaign, which mirrors the global Earth Hour initiative, seeks to institutionalize energy conservation as a lifestyle for Filipinos. By reducing the peak demand during Saturday evenings, the collective action of member-consumer-owners (MCOs) will significantly alleviate the strain on the national power grid: One Hour, One Energy, One Mission.

The cooperative also encourages MCOs to share their "ONE Hour" stories online using the hashtags:
